| Review: Although not the best movie, or even the best animation I've seen this year, this film definitely entertaining.The film begins with Blu, Jewel, and their three children have fun in their own homes in Rio de Janeiro while former Blues owner of Linda and her husband, Tullio is Amazon. But Amazon, believe herds of blue macaws. Seeing this on the news, Jewel is desperate to visit and the story begins as Blu, his family and his friends spend their last film to Amazon.The story is decent. There are quite a few songs and many comic moments as well. While trying to fit Blu tribe has several dangerous enemies around Nigel and illegal tree logger (of which there were many moments that reminded me of Avatar). There are many great moments in the Amazon when Blu is trying to fit in, which leads to one of my favorite moments was when they opened the pit of Doom. In addition, it is fun to see Nigel (white cockatoos) back along with some new characters. The voice work and music are pretty good as well.This movie is an interesting story and finally be nice as well. Although I appreciate the same as in Rio, I think it was a little better. I found it to be quite fun and action as well. A fun family film. |
